Many Nigerians are wondering Miss Christabel Ekeh, the Nigerian-Ghanian actress that posted nude on Instagram was arrested by the Ghanaian police. Well, I did a little bit of research to check if really she violated laws of the West African country only to realise that the lady (by her act) may have violated Section 278 of Ghana’s Criminal Offences Act.

The Act state that; “[w]hoever publicly and wilfully commits any grossly indecent act is guilty of a misdemeanour.” And by misdemeanour, this is a non-serious crime (light crime) punishable by a shorter prison sentence of fine..

Sorry Christabel, it appears you broke the law.

The four, James Opoku, Yusif Ahmed, Akwasi Addae and Muhammed Abdul-Sadeek, are alleged to be engaged in fraud boys. Their confessions are yet to be noted.

According to what NsromaMedia.Com gathered on social media, the slay queen hangs out with fraud boys, popularly refered to as Sakawa boys. President Buhari Became Sick As A Result Of The Money Stolen In Nigeria

The publisher, Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has said that President Muhammadu Buhari got sick when he saw how much had been looted from Nigeria and that there is no more corruption in Nigeria because there is nothing else to steal. Omoyele Sowore Sowore in his presentation at the Tracking Faulty Towers workshop which held at the University of Kent, London according to thecalbeng report said: “There is no corruption in Nigeria anymore because there is nothing else to steal and loot,” he said.

He also commended Buhari for putting in place strict measures to check corruption. “Transferring money from abroad to Nigeria has a limit and the charges are high but in Nigeria, we don’t have such until Buhari came into power,” he said. “We have the duty to challenge our leaders and the primitive accumulation of wealth Nigeria. “We need a serious re-orientation programme for the youth on the belief of quick wealth accumulation through corruption and crime. We need to let them know that the only way is through honest means and hard work.” Also the executive secretary of the presidential advisory committee against corruption (PACAC), Bolaji Owanasoye admitted that Nigeria is improving in its fight against “the infamous tag”.

“I am very happy to read recently that Nigeria is not among the top ten corrupt countries in the world,” Owanasoye said. “That is an improvement that shows something is being done right to fight corruption and crime in the country.” “Nigeria whistleblowing policy is celebrated because of reward attached to it but if revoked tomorrow, citizens should still be devoted to report corruption and crimes,” he said. “A pervasive and endemic culture of silence which allows corruption and sin to thrive is one of the challenges the Nigeria whistle blower policy face. “The culture of acquiescence which makes corruption appear legitimate is also a challenge we have in Nigeria.

“Nigerians have both moral and legal duties to report crime and corruption as it enhances rule of law and peace of security of society. “The inability to improve rule of law and governance in a weak state reinforces underdevelopment and vice-versa. “When a state demonstrates the political will to hold wrongdoers accountable and creates a dependable disclosure frame work the citizens will see it as a duty to report crime and corruption without fear or prejudice.”

Robber Wearing Police Bullet Proof Jacket Arrested In Aba (Photo)

On 24/07/2017 at about 2205hrs along Milverton Area Aba,police patrol team attached to Central Police Station Aba while on routine patrol, intercepted one Obasi Chibuike putting on police bullet proof jacket and extorting motorists.

   On sighting the patrol team, suspect fled the scene but was over-powered by the team. The following items were recovered from him during search: three live cartridges, one bullet proof, one jack knife and an International Passport. The suspect has however, confessed to being a member of four man robbery gang terrorizing Aba and its environs. Effort is put in place toward arresting the other members of his gang as well as recovering their weapons.

Pictured is a young lady who was among the victims of the accident that left many dead, 12 vehicles burnt to ashes in Felele area of Lokoja in Kogi state . Ngozi Nmadu, a young barrister and a blogger gave up the ghost after being involved in the ghastly auto accident between a commercial bus and a petrol tanker on Friday.

The accident occurred as a result of a head-on collision involving a bus and tanker laden with 33,000 litres of petrol.

Most of the victims were occupants of an 18-seater bus believed to be owned by Delta Line.

Ngozi is the first daughter of Hon Emeka Nmadu from Okpanam, who was just called to bar 2 years ago.

Her friends have taken to Facebook to mourn her tragic death.

My Pastor Always Boasts Of His Wealth And Accomplishments During Every Sermon

[quote] These days, more and more pastors and ministers are boasting in the depth of their finances and in excellency of the number of people they have saved or helped out of difficulties.

I used to have a pastor in my school fellowship who always boasts of his accomplishments. He is too autocratic and likes to be involved in almost everything even though there's need for delegation of power. However, he doesn't even allow we (the EXCOS members) to function since he takes almost all decisions himself. As funny as it sounds, he even features in the affairs of ladies which his wife or sister's coordinator should be responsible for

When he asks you to lead the prayer or take a message, he will later come to round it off himself no matter how well you passed the message across, making it look like you didn't do it well. It's even appalling that he's the first pastor I will ever see in my life leading Praise and worship on Sunday before handling the microphone over to the person assigned to take it

He does everything to make sure we are envious of his children. Often times, during sermon, he used to give us updates of how his first born has been maintaining his first class since 100l, he talks about how his second born made 9As in WAEC and how his last born is the second best student in her school. Most people that are battling with low self esteem always feel uneasy each time this man says these things.

A sermon cannot be passed across to us without him looking for every little opportunity to talk about how many times he has traveled abroad, how he used a fraction of his salary to build the church, how he bagged his PhD, and how it has earned him respect and recognition in the society.

Though, I wouldn't deny the fact that he's a philanthropist as he sometimes helps financially handicapped students out of ugly situations, but at the end, he will still boast of it on the pulpit even though he might not mention their names. There was even a time he assisted a financial handicapped neighbouring fellowship with the sum of N20, 000 when they needed money for their roofing sheets, and to my dismay, he talked about it during sermon and still talked about the amount he gave them.

He sees you as a threat and makes you look inconsequential when he realizes you have a dept of knowledge more than him since he believes you are just an undergraduate while has a PhD. I could vividly remember a time he silenced me on two different occasions when I made an overwhelming contribution during Sunday

Although, I have nothing against him even though he has offended and failed to apologize due to his overbloated ego, and I have left the fellowship but each time I remember all these things, I always pity those who find themselves under him

I don't know why many of the prosperity gospel teachers are usually boasters. They mouth off about their huge ministry just to reel in the naive. And the last time I checked, Jesus does not have any of these traits.

The market women started calling her names and almost tagged her a kidnapper saying the girl is too young to be that exposed.

I can't believe how ignorant and envious people can be... I went to meet peace where her mum sells Ugwu and I was almost eaten raw by the Ugwu sellers there... I was so disoriented!

Peace' Mum didn't complain, I already spoke with her Dad and he was grateful but these women couldn't hide their jealousy, they made a scene and almost tagged me a kidnapper...people started gathering.

The envious Ugwu women said they saw her pictures everywhere on the internet that she was too young, I asked them if she was too young to be successful?

These women were trying to convince her mum not to allow me take her to the studio for professional photos. They even blamed her for allowing me to take the pictures in the first place.

His close friend, Rapheal Koko who spoke to LIB a few minutes ago, said 'otto has been kidnnaped. He was in Lagos for an event last week and now I'm geting calls from mutual friends that he was kidnapped in Port Harcourt over the weekend'.

A young graduate who teaches in a private secondary school and earns a monthly salary of N75,000 is not a happy man at the moment.

According to Idoma Voice, the man's prospective in-laws in Benue State asked him to bring five jerry cans of palm oil, one goat, two cartons of beer, two crates of soft drinks and eight thousand naira before he would be given the list of items to buy and pay for.

He went, presented the items to them and they gave him a list of more items worth N1.5M.

"This excludes other logistic and miscellaneous expenses he may incur during the traditional marriage. We are even yet to talk about Church wedding which some ladies insist on before stepping their feet in a man's house. Even the guy's entire salary for thirty months cannot foot the bills before him. They must continue with their life after marriage. Funny enough, this lady is a student. he wrote.

"I deliberately refused to mention the name of the man, lady and families involved because it is not really about them. It is about us. We have to condemn such developments in Tiv land. LIB recalls that the traditional ruler of Otukpa, the headquarters of Ogbadibo LGA of Benue, Chief Sir Sunday Ekele Jp has banned intending grooms in the community from spending more than N100, 000 on traditional wedding.

The decision became imperative following complaints from young men in the community that outrageous bride price has been discouraging them from getting married.

The monarch, who made this known on Thursday, July 20th, while speaking on a live programme on Joy FM, Otukpo, said any one found flaunting the new law would be penalized.

“Money should not prevent anyone from getting married in our community. From now onward, no one should spend more than hundred thousand naira before he gets a wife in our community. We need to encourage the young men so they won’t be scared of going into marriage,” he said.

Aged woman seen carrying firewood, narrates how young man staying in her home constantly steals from her

Facebook user, Onyeozi Chukwunonso, shared the story of an old woman whom he met in the village. According to him, the woman believed to be in her 80s lost her way while returning from another village where she had gone to fetch firewood.  Seeing how tired she was, he helped her carry the log of firewood while she narrated how a young man who was brought to help take care of her, constantly stole from her.
He also advised that adequate care and attention be given to aged people. Read his post below:

Man who raped and murdered 3-year-old girl gets 100 lashes before getting multiple shots in the back in front of thousands of people in Yemen (Shocking Photos)

Today, thousands of people gathered in the Sana'a, the Capital of Yemen to witness the public execution of a paedophile who raped and murdered a three-year-old girl.
41-year-old Mohammed al-Moghrabi was sentenced to death for his sickening June 25 crimes by a court run by the Shiite Huthi rebels who control the city.
The gruesome crime coincided with the first day of Eid al-Fitr, the Muslim holiday that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, and sparked anger among the people in the city.
Moghrabi was escorted by heavily armed police men to the Tahrir Square where he was executed amid fears the angry crowd could lynch him.
The convicted paedophile was first given 100 lashes and then made to lie flat, his face on the ground, and killed by multiple gunshots by security forces as vast crowd cheered and took photos at the scene.
The public execution was reportedly aired on Huthi-run media in Yemen, to serve as a warning to the public by the Shiite rebels’ efforts to combat crime in their areas.

Sochima Amanda Iloka, a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka died yesterday after a brief illness.

According to friends on Facebook, the deceased popularly known as "Soch Money" suffered from malaria before her death. See a post by one of her friends below:

She was my senior in secondary school then, she left this world yesterday after a brief illness (Malaria), MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE AMEN. It is really a sad news that a young lady with a bright future like her died but the truth is that no one can reject death, I have been thinking about her demise since yesterday, I was saying that "she is too young to die", then I remembered that there are some people that are more younger than her that are no more.
